Overview of Job Function:
The Sales Specialist, Back Office will provide back office subject matter expertise in support of a geographically assigned territory. The Sales Specialist, Back Office specialist will prospect, identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within an assigned territory, focusing on opportunities specifically related to 'back office operations at customers such as transactional processing, accounting, and data processing. The Sales Specialist will interact with other internal departments such as Sales, Pre-sales, Sales Operations, and Customer Services.
Principal Duties and Essential
Responsibilities:
Execute the Company's Back Office sales strategies and achieve established Back Office sales quota in the assigned territory by identifying business opportunities through territory management, target account prospecting and profiling.
Thoroughly assess the customer's needs through deep discovery at customers and present an appropriate sales solution, utilizing where appropriate, the region's Sales Engineer(s) as needed.
Provide effective sales presentations/product demonstrations to prospective customer management.
Maintain effective relationships with established customers and develop strategies to maximize revenue opportunities through increased portfolio usage.
Provide the sales management team with accurate and timely reporting of activities including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, the status of the sales pipeline and results of prospecting activities.
Provide routine updates to the Company's sales database with account activity and status.
Maintain a thorough on-going knowledge of Verint products and technology, as well as industry trends.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum seven (7) years of sales related experience within the enterprise software or operations consulting industry, selling complex software or consulting solutions such as Workforce Planning, Performance Management, ERP, CRM or related system or service sales to C-level executives.
Must be able to prospect and identify business opportunities, conduct needs analysis and present and close solutions sales to targeted accounts.
Professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal are required with the ability to penetrate and establish relationships with customer's senior level executives.
Must possess excellent negotiation and closing skills with the proven ability to qualify prospects from both an operational and financial standpoint
Credit available and required to successfully perform the travel function of the role; ability to travel 65-85% of the time
Successful completion of the background check process, including but not limited to employment, education, criminal convictions, OFAC, SS Verification and credit, where available and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Operations Management or equivalent preferred
Working knowledge of value added ROI business process sales engagements
Knowledge of Workforce Management, Performance Management, business process management, workflow software and /or CRM/ERP software background desired
