Under general supervision, provides instruction to students enrolled in our Introduction to Cross Fit class. Performs other activities related to teaching such as assessment, evaluation and reporting student performance and progress in assigned courses in accordance with the College and School policies and procedures. Assists with the development of course/program materials.
There may be multiple openings for this position, which will be filled on an as-needed basis.
The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Laramie County Community College campus or outreach center as assigned. A faculty member performs all other duties as directed by the School Dean, Vice President of Academic Affairs, or the President or designee.
Starting Date: Tentative Start Date August 2014.
Compensation: $700 per credit hour.
Conducts lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities
Collects data, evaluate and report student performance and progress in assigned courses
Participates in assessing the effectiveness of courses and program
Assists in revising curriculum and updating program/courses and instructional materials
Schedules time to be available to students outside of scheduled class time
Cares for and maintains classrooms and equipment
