N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY End User Computing is looking for an experienced Software Engineer for our innovative new Enterprise Browser platform.
The Software Engineer serves as a technical Subject Matter Expert and will work closely with the product team to create solutions that serve the business by leveraging current and leading edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.
This role will contribute to resolving complex issues and providing input for decisions on more complex, non-routine service requests with limited to moderate risk.
As part of this role, this individual will perform ideation, creation, and testing of the Enterprise Browser platform and ancillary products to meet current and future user needs.
This individual will collaborate on multiple projects to ensure for successful completion.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required:

Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification

years experience in information technology including:

4
years experience in software development with expertise in Java, Powershell, and other programming languages and methodologies.

2
years experience in developing applications for cloud.

Experience with DevOps processes (CI/CD) and tools like Git and Jira.
Preferred:

Technical skills:

years engineering with Chromium and creating/modifying applications or extensions within that framework
Experience with SAFE Agile
Experience with Design Thinking.

Experience with the hospitality or travel industry.

Ability to align change management strategies with product development/deployments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams
Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives
Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities
Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products
Strong understanding of emerging tools, software, applications, and systems for attaining best-in-class technologies

Ability to work closely with architects, engineers, as well as product and business owners to evolve architectures and design technical solutions

Educates internal and external users on the technologies to continually improve the knowledge and skill-base of the organization on how to operate and support the technology services
Experience with distributed systems and solving availability, scalability and consistency problems in them
Skillful at interacting and working with people in a leadership role; working with a self-organized lean and agile team to mitigate key project technical risks, managing effort, and ensuring quality
Dedicated to producing quality code and dedicated to best practices such as automated testing, code reviews, pair programming, test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure Delivery teams for deployment and production support activities
Passionate about enabling others to adopt new technologies
Supports, implements, and promotes standard configuration and change management, processes and practices Leadership & Management

The salary range for this position is $81,525.
00 to $158,430.

The salary range for this position is $98,644.

Washington Applicants Only:
The salary range for this position is $81,525.
00to $174,271.

In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Employees will accrue 0.
04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
