Systems Support Engineer I

Systems Support Engineer (Cheyenne, WY)The Select Group is seeking a Systems Support Engineer I for our client in Cheyenne, WY.
In this role, you will be a part of the Wireless Platform team responsible for supporting multiple critical applications by responding to high-volume incidences and providing resolutions to Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 tickets.
The focal support will be on VMware and Systems operations, so having sound knowledge in these areas is crucial.
Shifts:
All shifts are 4x10 (On-site 3 days per week; 40 hours per week.
Weekend shift is remote.
Shifts can be 1st or 2nd, any day of the week.
Required Skills:
2-3 years of professional experience, ideally within an enterprise environment supporting high volumes of tickets and incidences.
Tracking tickets within JIRA and updating completion/documentation as needed Experience building and administration within VMware and Linux
Responsibilities:
Help manage a high volume of incidences/tickets that directly or indirectly impact customer wireless networks.
Timely response to priority tickets that come through the NOC due to outages (prioritization based on severity, customer outage = Sev1) Support troubleshooting efforts and documenting the actions.
Help restore service at outage sites.
Running scripts and performing deployments based on SOP's and MOP's Perform scheduled health checks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
