Part-time Automotive Lube Technician

The Automotive Lube Technician provides general
for vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation and replacement. Under the guidance of an experienced technician, the Lube Tech performs preventive and scheduled maintenance, conducts a multi-point courtesy inspection, and documents maintenance activities in our computerized management system. The Lube tech assists in maintaining shop condition/appearance, practices safety procedures, promotes shop policies, and follows environmental rules. He/She also helps ensure the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions.
The ideal Lube Technician candidate has a high school diploma/GED, an affinity for automotive maintenance/
, an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record, and a strong desire to learn and grow with our business.
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this
-- Change oil, change/rotate tires, and perform minor maintenance/repair tasks as assigned
-- Expertly check all fluids and maintenance-related parts and top-off or replace fluids or filters/parts as required
-- Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how
' complex components work and interact
-- Perform routine multi-point visual inspections, test, change engine oil/filter, lubricate chassis, and other major components
-- Drive vehicles in and around the premises as needed
-- Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry
-- Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities
-- Document all service activities in our computerized maintenance management system

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
