Summary:
Develops and implements nursing curriculum within state approval and national accreditation mandates. Facilitates classroom, laboratory and clinical acquisition of knowledge by students through utilization of a variety of teaching methodologies. Participates in recruitment and retention of students and comprehensive program assessment.
The nursing faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Laramie County Community College campus or outreach center as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction; instructional counseling; academic advising; serving on various committees; and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. A faculty member performs all other duties as directed by the Nursing Program Director, Division Dean, Vice President of Instruction, or the President or designee.

Become familiar with and comply with all College policies and procedures
Participate in College, division, and program activities
Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the College's mission and programs
Participate in annual Nursing Program Systematic Plan for Evaluation
Participate in Nursing Advisory Committee Meetings
Advise an assigned number of advisees
Participate or attend professional development opportunities to maintain currency and expertise in nursing specialty and educational trends
Participate in nursing student orientation sessions during contract year
Approve student applications for graduation and certificate(s) of completion
Actively participate in maintaining Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accreditation
Actively serve on college, division, nursing department, community education-related or professional committees as requested by the Nursing Program Director or Division Dean for the benefit of the college
Other: Ability to adapt to a variety of teaching assignments in more than one area of nursing. Keep current on required titers, immunizations, etc. as required by clinical facilities and contracts
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing plus a minimum of 18 hours of coursework completed toward Master of Science in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years Registered Nurse clinical experience
License/ Certification: Current, unencumbered, Wyoming Registered Nurse License, CPR certification
Preferred
Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MS, MSN). Previous teaching experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
