Audio/Visual Assistant (LCCC Students Only)

This position is only available for LCCC students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the Fall 2014 semester.
This position is responsible for operating and monitoring the equipment used for compressed video classes, and recording LCCC events such as concerts, plays, and presentations. This position will also assist the audio/visual department with troubleshooting and correcting issues with campus audio/visual systems as well as provide technical support for LCCC classes and events.
Start Date: As soon as practical after offer is made.
Compensation: Minimum $9.93 per hour.
Provide excellent customer service to LCCC faculty, staff, students and the general public.
Operate and monitor the equipment used for compressed video classes and events.
Troubleshoot and correct issues with campus audio/visual systems.
Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Video record on and off campus events.
Provide technical support for graduation, presentations and concerts.
Setup audio/visual equipment for meetings, classes, concerts and presentations.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Be currently enrolled as a student at LCCC.
Be willing and able to work nights and occasional weekends.
Have basic computer skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Familiarity with video cameras, p.a. equipment and basic audio/visual systems.
Some experience with audio/visual equipment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
