This is a part-time position.
The Exam Lab Proctor is a high student contact position along with being a collaborative partner with LCCC faculty and staff. Customers include LCCC students, staff and faculty; other national/regional institutions students and faculty; and national certification testing services.
This position monitors academic exams for both LCCC and other national/regional institutions; downloads and monitors national testing certification exams (Pearson VUE and national certifying bodies); monitors quizzes and exams for students needing accommodations; and prepares yearly usage reports.
The Proctor is responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming, secure testing environment for students as well as maintaining academic testing integrity.
Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Variable hours up to 19.75 hours.
Closing Date: Open until filled. Screening to begin immediately.
Start Date: As soon after screening as practical.
Compensation: $12.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Monitor academic exams for both LCCC and other institutions (accommodated testing, paper/pencil testing, and on-line testing)
Facilitate Pearson VUE and other national certifying entities testing.
Prepare reports, process payments, maintain accurate files, and withstand prolonged periods of sitting.
Multi-task and maintain professionalism during high volume testing.
Operate office equipment (PC, scanner, facsimile, photocopier, and telephone).
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associate's degree
Two years of customer service, data-entry and word processing experience
Preferred
Qualifications:
Four years of customer service, data-entry and word processing experience
