Responsibilities include:
Specialty billing to customers and assisting the 3rd party billing department with customer information on bulk or other 3rd party gas bills. Provide backup to the other Bulk Billing Specialist for overflow work and during time off periods.
Compile and validate the Bulk Distribution locations inventories and monthly tube trailer inventory, and providing research and analysis on volume discrepancies.
Provide monthly reports for volume tracking of regional vendor agreements and monthly volumes delivered by plant as well as regional reporting on changes in vendor gas pricing to keep the sales team informed. Research customer bulk account pricing and fee discrepancies that arise during billing and work with the Contract Administrator and Account Managers to ensure new pricing and changes to pricing are loaded to accounts correctly.
This position interacts with customers on a regular basis to provide customers with billing backup and research on billing questions and also collecting and posting new customer PO numbers when existing PO numbers expire.
Interacting with Corporate Division to maintain and creating blanket bulk PO's for vendor invoice processing, managing and communicating gas vendor cost changes to ensure timely updating of SAP for cost increases, assist Division Accounts Payable with open bulk gas vendor issues, approve and monitor new rental billings.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Complete billing for Regional specialty bulk jobs that require a high level of detail for correct billing and processing of any related Vendor costs.
Complete monthly bulk inventory and month end tasks for sales accruals and other tasks as assigned.
Analyze and report on data for Regional Gas TOP and sales volumes and other measures as requested.
Maintain monthly reports on Vendor costs validating all changes are communicated for system load
Maintain Regional Customer Bulk PO's for product and rent maintaining accurate billing records at all times.
Maintain integrity of bulk account pricing by investigating discrepancies before billing and maintaining an accurate master billing list.
Investigate and assist the Divisional AP Department with any Bulk Gas Vendor issues.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and/or training and education.
Proficient general computer skills
Advanced skill level for Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
10-key by touch
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good phone skills
Good problem solving skills and administrative accuracy
