Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will provide Tier 3 engineering and troubleshooting for Dish's corporate data network devices and services. Detail oriented individual who provides advanced network engineering and consultation in the design, planning and implementation of technical products and network services. A strong Cisco background will be required.
Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Provide advanced technical leadership for complex project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission-critical network devices and services as well as strategic upgrades to the network core
Establish requirements, provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definition
Define engineering requirements, architecture and network level design and integration for data interconnectivity needs of business-critical applications and functions
Analyze, setup, monitor, and audit required measures to ensure data network performance and security
Daily operational responsibility for reliability of Dish's corporate network
Validate that customer network configurations are functioning per designs by validating log flows, event threshold settings, and alarm notification settings
Skills - Experience and Requirements
A Principal Level Data Network Engineer will have the following:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and six years plus experience as a data network specialist in a medium to large enterprise network; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Cisco CCNA/CCNP preferred
Complex troubleshooting skills
Experience with network monitoring applications such as Solarwinds Orion or Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Extensive knowledge of Cisco routers and switches (Cisco IOS, NX-OS platforms)
Proficient hands on experience and understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols such as: BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, STP, OSPF, HSRP, IP, sub netting, routing

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
